Andy Murray & Kim Sears

One of the most well-liked and accomplished tennis players to ever represent Great Britain is Andy Murray.

The Scottish-born star's marriage to Kim Sears may be known to certain of her followers. You might not be aware of the athlete's practice of honoring his wife each and every time he gets onto the court, though.

Before becoming engaged in 2014, Murray and Sears were in a long-term relationship.

They exchanged vows at Scotland's Dunblane Cathedral on April 11, 2015. While his bride wore a stunning Jenny Packham gown adorned with Swarovski crystals, Murray wore a traditional Scottish kilt.

Although the setting was impressive and the couple appeared to go all out for the big day, the number of guests was small because it was not a star-studded affair. Actually, a large portion of Murray's tennis pro friends were not invited.

In an interview with Hello! before his wedding, the prospective husband-to-be declared: "There won't be any celebrities in the classic sense. I don't have any famous pals; therefore, it wasn't planned.

He said, "Everyone who we're close to, people we've spent a lot of time with in the past, but also people we see ourselves spending time with in the future," was settled upon as their simple guest list plan. That is how the names were created.

Tennis star Tim Henman, also from the United Kingdom, was one of the fortunate individuals to receive an invitation.
